History
Sunflower oil, ketchup, tomato paste, mayonnaise “VARTO” entered the Ukrainian food market in 2015. For a while, this product was the main focus of the company’s production efforts, with only a few varieties of this popular sauce developed and added to Varto LTD’s product portfolio. However, due to the constant trust of consumers and the steadily growing demand for the company’s products, the groundwork for expanding the range was soon laid. The large-scale development of the company began.
Since 2017, new production facilities have been incorporated into the company’s structure. Thanks to the new production facility (Kherson, Kremençuk, Zaporizhzhia Region, Odessa Ukraine), the company’s product range has been expanded to include natural vegetable oil and later delicious mustard, authentic sauces, and natural ketchup. Today, the company actively continues to develop its food business.
Sales and distribution
All products of Varto LTD and Columbia International Trading Ltd are well known among Ukrainian customers and are represented in all major retail networks in the country. In 2017, our company entered the international market. Today, the company successfully exports products to more than 20 countries worldwide, including Switzerland, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Venezuela, Guinea, Germany, Georgia, Italy, Qatar, China, Latvia, Poland, Moldova, Romania, the Netherlands, Tanzania, USA, France, Sweden, etc. The list of our distribution partners is constantly expanding and already includes consumer markets in countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Belarus, Lithuania, and Estonia.

A quality management system in accordance with the Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000) was introduced in the company in 2015. The certification is conducted by an independent globally renowned certification body, and its annual audits consistently confirm the compliance of the manufacturer’s quality systems with the global food safety standards.

Alfa Laval equipment, manufactured by the Swedish company Alfa Laval (the world’s largest and most respected provider of separation equipment), has been used to equip the production facilities of our company.
